Key Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, you will:

  • Evaluate residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
  • Provide skilled therapy interventions to improve ADLs, strength, mobility, coordination, and functional independence
  • Implement evidence-based treatment approaches based on each resident’s needs and goals
  • Utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities to support clinical outcomes
  • Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with nursing, physicians, therapy staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
  • Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment strategies and techniques that promote independence and safety

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Current and active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license, or eligibility for licensure
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
