About Our Therapy Team
We’re a large, close-knit rehabilitation team that values collaboration, mutual respect, trust, and continuous learning. Our team includes both experienced clinicians and new graduates, creating an environment where everyone has the opportunity to learn, contribute, and grow.
As a COTA, you’ll work closely with Occupational Therapists and a multidisciplinary care team while benefiting from the support of two dedicated Rehab Aides for treatment setup and assistance.

Your Role as a COTA
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to help patients achieve their functional goals.
Responsibilities may include:
- Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions according to the established treatment plan
- Assist patients with improving ADLs, functional mobility, coordination, strength, and independence
- Implement therapeutic activities designed to support functional recovery
- Monitor and communicate patient progress to the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Collaborate with OT, nursing, therapy professionals, and other interdisciplinary team members
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Promote patient safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life

Qualifications
- Current and valid California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license/certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
- Passion for helping patients achieve greater independence
