AD OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

Playfly Sports is looking for an Ad Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support the execution, governance, and optimization of Playfly's enterprise digital advertising business by serving as the operational bridge between Sales, Property Partner Services, FanServ, technology vendors, and university partners. You will own campaign intake and submission, operational standards, inventory strategy, vendor coordination, and advertising technology initiatives that maximize campaign performance, improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth across the Playfly portfolio.

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH

• Serve as Playfly's primary owner of digital advertising operations across university and high school partner websites and mobile applications

• Collect campaign requirements from Playfly Sports Properties teams and submit digital advertising campaign requests through Stadium, FanServ's campaign management platform, ensuring all creative assets, targeting parameters, flight dates, impression goals, and sponsorship details are complete and accurate prior to execution

• Coordinate with Playfly Sales, Property Partner Services, and FanServ to facilitate campaign launches, revisions, creative updates, and delivery priorities

• Act as Playfly's primary operational liaison with FanServ, managing day-to-day communication, issue resolution, workflow improvements, service-level expectations, and implementation of new advertising capabilities

• Review campaign pacing, delivery, and operational performance, escalating issues and coordinating resolutions with FanServ and internal stakeholders

• Provide inventory forecasts, campaign flight recommendations, and monetization guidance to Playfly Sports Properties sales teams

• Drive inventory strategy, supply optimization, and yield management through ongoing analysis of inventory utilization, fill rates, and advertising performance

• Serve as the subject matter expert for Playfly Sports Properties on digital advertising capabilities, ad serving best practices, monetization opportunities, and campaign execution workflows

• Partner with website, mobile application, and advertising technology vendors to support platform enhancements, technical integrations, and new advertising capabilities

• Develop operational standards, documentation, and best practices that drive consistency, efficiency, and scalability across the Playfly portfolio

• Monitor digital advertising and ad technology trends, recommending new tools, workflows, and capabilities that improve operational efficiency, advertiser performance, and revenue generation

• Produce operational reporting, campaign insights, and business recommendations that support revenue growth and informed decision-making

• Other job-related duties as assigned

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Bachelor's degree in digital media or related field preferred

• 5+ years of professional experience in digital advertising operations, ad trafficking, ad technology, or a similar role

• Strong working knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, including Google Ad Manager 360, ad serving technologies, workflows, terminology, and metrics

• Knowledge of audience targeting and data-driven advertising tactics

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams, with the ability to analyze data, develop reports, and communicate business insights effectively

• Orientation toward providing excellent client service and following through on requests

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and guide individuals with varying levels of digital advertising knowledge

• Occasional travel may be required

COMPENSATION

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.

The base pay range for this role is:

$85,000—$90,000 USD
