Occupational Therapist (OT) | 2026-2027 School Year | Up to $60/hour | Gurnee, IL Area

Hello OTs! Join a local, women, and therapist-founded company that’s committed to supporting the professionals who support our schools. Ampersand Therapy is hiring an Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year in the greater Gurnee, Illinois area.

Position Details

• Start Date: As soon as possible, Full-Time
• Setting: K-12th Grade
• Location: Special Education District of Lake County (SEDOL)
• Service Areas: Deliver IEP service minutes, documentation, collaboration

Your Responsibilities

• Provide school-based OT services in alignment with IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations and write reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and progress monitoring
• Maintain timely documentation
• Collaborate with special education teams and related service providers

What We’re Looking For

• Illinois Occupational Therapy license
• School-based experience preferred, but not required
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Passion for supporting students in inclusive educational settings
