Ampersand Therapy is hiring a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position in Shelton, Washington, beginning in November 2026. Position Details

• School-based Occupational Therapist position
• Location: Shelton, WA
• Start Date: November 2026
• In-person assignment
• Support students across a range of ages and needs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and prepare reports
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams
• Monitor student progress and maintain timely documentation
• Recommend strategies, accommodations, and adaptive equipment to support student participation
• Communicate effectively with school staff, families, and other service providers

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Washington State Occupational Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Washington Educational Staff Associate (ESA) Certificate or willingness to obtain
• Ability to complete required background checks and fingerprinting
• School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
