School-Based Paraeducator | Multiple Openings | Full-Time | 2026–2027 School Year | Bellevue WA

Ampersand Therapy is hiring multiple paraeducators to support students during the 2026–2027 school year. We are a women- and therapist-founded company that values the people who help students thrive. Job Highlights

• In-person, school-based openings
• Assignment dates: ASAP–June 2027
• Assignments may include classroom, special education, resource room, or one-on-one support

Responsibilities

• Assist students with classwork, learning activities, and IEP accommodations under the direction of a certified teacher
• Reinforce positive behavior strategies and help maintain a supportive classroom environment
• Supervise students during transitions, lunch, recess, and other parts of the school day
• Help prepare materials and support classroom routines
• Depending on the assignment, assist students with personal care, feeding, or mobility
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists while maintaining student confidentiality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional district qualifications may apply
• Ability to follow teacher direction and work effectively with students and school staff
• Strong communication skills, patience, and professionalism
• Experience working with children or students with disabilities preferred
