About the Role

Hello, Paraprofessionals! Ampersand Therapy is hiring full-time Paraprofessionals for a school setting in Greeley, CO, to provide LOA coverage from October through December 2026. In this role, you’ll provide direct support to students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs, helping them access their education and succeed in the classroom. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with students and wants to make a meaningful impact while supporting a school during a temporary leave coverage period.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 or small group support to students in the classroom
• Assist with implementing behavior plans and classroom strategies
• Support students with academic tasks and daily routines
• Help reinforce social, emotional, and communication skills
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Support students with transitions throughout the school day
• Maintain basic documentation as needed

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
• Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow direction and support behavior and academic plans
• School-based or paraprofessional experience a plus
