🚗 About the Role – Technician / Mechanic As a Technician / Mechanic at Poppy, your focus is on the electronic and technological aspects of our fleet. You will be the go-to person for diagnosing complex issues, repairing electronic systems, and addressing vandalism-related damages. Your primary focus is advanced diagnostics and electronic repairs. In addition, you are expected to support in- and outfleeting activities when needed. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Vilvoorde workshop, within a hands-on and growing team.

🚗 Your Responsibilities

📋 Diagnostics & Repairs

• Diagnose and repair electronic and technological issues in vehicles (sensors, modules, wiring, displays, etc.)
• Address damages caused by vandalism to electronic components
• Use and interpret data from diagnostic tools to identify issues
• Actively identify root causes of recurring issues and propose structural improvements

📋 Fleet Support

• Assist in in- and outfleeting of vehicles when electronic repairs are completed
• Prepare vehicles for deployment, including small technical interventions
• Collaborate closely with technical and operations colleagues to keep fleet downtime low

🚗 Your Profile

• Strong technical background as an automotive technician or mechanic
• Excellent knowledge of electronics and vehicle diagnostics
• Experience with diagnostic tools is a must
• Problem-solving mindset and hands-on approach
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse fleet (multiple brands and models)
• Interest in connected vehicles, telematics or fleet technology is a strong plus
• Comfortable with complex and non-standard issues
• Fluent in French (required), good English (preferable), Dutch is a plus
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full-time presence at the Vilvoorde workshop is required
• Valid drivers license B
