The Supervisor/Team Lead, Warehouse is responsible for providing daily guidance to the warehouse team, ensuring all necessary resources to stay safely productive are available. This role will regularly participate in warehouse operations, assisting where needed.

  • Responsibilities
  • Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free environment
  • Supervise and mentor the assigned team of Shipping, Receiving and Inventory Clerks, including task assignments, quality assurance review and cross-training
  • Support team in assisting in daily warehouse responsibilities for priority or complex tasks
  • Maintain and enforce Warehouse standard operating processes (SOPs) and quality protocols across all tasks, performing or giving oversight to inspections, inventory counts and audits
  • Support continuous improvement in workflows to increase efficiency
  • Adhere to shipment deadlines and commitments set by the team for project schedules and communicate concerns or issues
  • Support a culture of accountability, collaboration, and professional development within the team
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Six (6) or more years of warehouse experience, demonstrating proficiency in all warehousing duties
  • Prior experience in leading/mentoring in a warehouse environment
  • Proven proficiency in warehousing software tracking
  • Demonstrated capability to use bill of materials and apply knowledge of various vendor supplied components
  • Proven communication and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively across functions
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality and continuous improvement
