About Re:Build

At Re:Build, our mission is to ensure the next generation of important products are made, at scale, in America. We are laying the foundation for a better future for our customers, employees, and communities by revitalizing America's manufacturing base and creating meaningful jobs across the country, including in historically deindustrialized regions.

We operate an advanced, end-to-end manufacturing platform that partners with industrial companies and innovators to take products from first concept to full-scale production in critical verticals including aerospace and defense, electrification, medical, energy and environment, and robotics and automation.

The way we operate is as important as the work we do. It's guided by The Re:Build Way, 16 principles that shape how we collaborate with each other, partner with our customers and vendors, and contribute to the communities where we operate. (link to The Re:Build Way principles)

Who we are looking for – We're seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead our end-to-end supply chain operations — spanning Purchasing, Logistics, Shipping & Receiving, and Inventory Management and drive procurement excellence across the organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands-on leader with deep ERP expertise (SyteLine strongly preferred) who can serve as the go-to subject matter expert for procurement systems. This role oversees a broad scope of responsibility, from customs compliance to kitting operations, buying/planning, shipping and receiving, inventory accuracy, and support of ecommerce fulfillment. We're looking for someone who combines strong supplier relationship management skills with a continuous improvement mindset, and who is ready to grow into greater leadership responsibility as the company evolves.

What you get to do – As the Supply Chain Manager, you will develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals, driving operational efficiency, inventory control, and timely availability of products and services. You will manage the Purchasing department, overseeing all purchased products and services, including raw materials, hardware, finished goods, outside processes, and miscellaneous supplies, while leading, training, coaching, and developing Purchasing personnel to support their career growth. Day-to-day, you'll oversee procurement activities, providing support on sourcing decisions, tactical input, and problem-solving, and you'll establish and maintain procurement processes, procedures, work instructions, and standard work, adapting them as the business grows and evolves. You will also oversee Shipping and Receiving operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and well-documented inbound and outbound material flow. This includes managing dock-to-stock processes, receiving inspection coordination with Quality, carrier and freight relationships, and outbound shipment scheduling and documentation to meet customer and production commitments. You'll manage kitting operations to support production schedules and customer orders, ensuring kits are accurate, complete, and delivered on time. You'll own inventory accuracy as a core performance metric, driving cycle counting programs, periodic physical inventories, and root-cause analysis/corrective action for discrepancies, in partnership with Production and Quality. You will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for procurement functions and job transactions within the ERP system, with SyteLine experience strongly preferred, and you'll oversee customs compliance and international trade activities, including import/export documentation, tariff classification, customs broker relationships, and adherence to applicable trade regulations. You’ll be responsible for managing the broader supply base through sourcing, evaluating, selecting, monitoring performance via KPIs, and coordinating supplier audits. You'll also maintain the Approved Supplier List (ASL) in accordance with our AS9100 Quality Management System, and negotiate supplier contracts covering terms and conditions, pricing, payment terms, delivery standards, quality requirements, and performance metrics. Beyond core procurement functions, you'll identify and implement opportunities for strategic sourcing and cost reduction, and support ecommerce operations by coordinating inventory availability, order fulfillment, and supply planning in alignment with ecommerce demand. You will collaborate with the broader management team in a leadership capacity, driving strategic initiatives, developing and implementing policy, and mentoring personnel, while championing a Lean / Continuous Improvement mindset both within Purchasing, shipping, receiving, warehouse operations and companywide. Finally, you'll facilitate collaboration across functions, working closely with Production and Account Management on customer orders, Sales on quotes and new supplier prospects, Quality on supplier quality issues, and logistics/customs brokers on import/export shipments.

What you bring to the team – You bring a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field, 10+ years of relevant experience, and functional knowledge of procurement regulations, market trends, shipping/receiving, warehouse operations and logistics including carrier management and inventory control practices. Customs compliance and import/export experience is required, and ecommerce experience is preferred. Lean / Continuous Improvement experience, particularly with TPS-based systems, is a plus. You're a proven leader with the ability to influence cross-functional teams, drive improvement initiatives, and develop talent, backed by strong communication skills and the emotional intelligence to stay composed under pressure. You're comfortable with ERP systems (SyteLine strongly preferred), ecommerce platforms, supplier portals, and other applicable tools. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills round out your ability to resolve supplier issues and make sourcing decisions grounded in performance and compliance factors. You manage your time and workspace efficiently despite frequent interruptions and multitasking demands.
