AI Search & SEO Specialist

Job Description

Renesas is seeking an AI Search & SEO Specialist to help improve how engineers discover, evaluate, and engage with Renesas content across AI-powered answer engines, traditional organic search, and onsite search experiences.

In this role, you’ll report to the Manager, Content Strategy & AI Visibility and work closely with content, web, product, technical, and analytics teams to monitor performance, identify trends, surface opportunities, and recommend improvements across Renesas.com. You’ll help shape how we evaluate search performance across both traditional and AI-driven environments, by identifying optimization opportunities that improve visibility and discoverability for our products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve how Renesas appears in AI-generated answers and emerging search experiences by identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization across content.
• Establish and socialize AI search, generative engine optimization (GEO) and SEO best practices, enabling content owners, marketers, web producers, developers, and regional teams to create content that is accurate, discoverable, structured, and aligned with how customers search and evaluate.
• Build and maintain recurring reporting for search visibility, traffic, engagement, and conversion performance using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Conductor, onsite search analytics, and emerging AI visibility platforms.
• Analyze onsite search behavior to identify customer intent, content gaps, terminology mismatches, and relevance issues, then partner with product and web teams to improve search experiences through tuning, taxonomy, synonyms, facets, rules, and AI-informed content recommendations.
• Work closely with the technical web team to identify and prioritize technical improvements that help search engines and AI systems better interpret, index, and surface Renesas content.
• Support business reviews and stakeholder presentations by preparing performance summaries, visualizations, and insight narratives.
• Stay current on search and digital marketing trends to help inform future optimization opportunities, reporting needs, and measurement approaches.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SEO, search analytics, content optimization, or digital search strategy, including experience identifying opportunities to improve visibility across organic search, AI-search/GEO.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, computer science, data analytics, engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience using tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Bing Webmaster Tools, Baidu Webmaster Tools, Conductor, Profound, onsite search analytics, or comparable platforms.
• Passion for understanding how LLMs and answer engines discover, evaluate, and cite content, and how AI-powered search is changing brand visibility and content performance.
• Experience with onsite search platforms or relevance-tuning concepts such as synonyms, rules, boosts, facets, filters, query behavior, and search result optimization.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, CMS platforms, and how web development decisions impact search visibility and user experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate search visibility, rankings, traffic, engagement, conversions, content performance, SERP features, prompt behavior, competitor activity, and AI visibility signals, then translate findings into clear insights, prioritized recommendations, and measurable optimization plans.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate search opportunities into actionable recommendations for content, engineering, product, analytics, and marketing teams.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
