Hiring Range

$85,800.00 - $117,975.00/Annual
Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs.

Overview

Internal consult/coach leading process improvement efforts throughout Riverside Health System. Utilizes a hands-on approach to lead teams composed of senior leadership down to the line/staff operational level. Engages with teams at the system, facility, service line, department, and/or functional level. Utilizes a variety of process improvement techniques and tools such as LEAN, PDCA, Process Flow, Project Management and Six Sigma to develop and facilitate positive change, across the 4 focus areas. Measures results/ROI across the 4 focus areas and achieves results using influence and demonstrated leadership techniques. Focuses on sustained change to foster culture shifts that promote lasting results. Works in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and delivering results within established timelines.

What you will do

• Lead projects that streamline work flow, increase capacity, or reduce redundant effort and waste through the use of process improvement tools. Size and scope of projects must have system-wide impact or applicability. Demonstrate professional leadership by formally presenting projects to senior leaders within the organization at regularly scheduled project reviews.
• Lead projects to achieve multi-millions dollar ROI in cost and waste reduction and revenue enhancements through team engagement, project leadership, and mastery of process improvement techniques.
• Lead and direct teams to positively affect our patients and customers in the areas of quality, safety, and overall customer experience.
• Mentor others within Riverside in process improvement methodologies by providing leadership and direction on project selection and project planning. Guide teams to implement sustainable solutions. Project teams for this standard include smaller departmental projects, 8 Step trainees, change acceleration projects or equivalent.
• Engages physicians in process improvement efforts to influence change and achieve sustained results.
• Demonstrate skill and expertise in process improvement methodologies to support formal and informal training programs within RHS. Develop, organize, teach, or mentor training sessions comprised of a cross-section of Riverside team members.
• Serve as a resource to the community through education and mentoring.

Qualifications

Education

• Masters Degree, Related Field (Required)

Experience

• 10 years professional experience in the areas of industrial engineering, operations research, management, financial and systems engineering or economics (Required)
• Supervisory experience (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• Six Sigma Black Belt - All Issuers within 1 Year(Required)
• Valid Drivers License Required
