End of line inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical End of Line Inspector to join our manufacturing facility in Cape Town, South Africa. In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards before they leave our production line. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, identifying defects, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to uphold our commitment to excellence. • Conduct systematic visual and functional inspections of finished products at the end of the production line

• Analyse products against established quality specifications and manufacturing standards • Identify, document, and report defects or non-conformities with precision and accuracy • Operate inspection equipment and testing tools in accordance with standard operating procedures • Maintain detailed records of inspection results and quality data for traceability and analysis • Communicate findings to production and quality teams to facilitate continuous improvement
• Perform statistical analysis of inspection data to identify trends and potential process improvements • Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards and regulatory requirements • Collaborate with production staff to resolve quality issues efficiently • Maintain an organised and safe working environment within the inspection area

Qualifications

• Preferable experience in quality inspection, product testing, or end-of-line inspection roles • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify defects and inconsistencies • Proficiency in using inspection equipment, gauges, and testing instruments • Solid understanding of quality control procedures and manufacturing processes
• Organisational and record-keeping skills • Ability to analyse data and interpret quality specifications accurately
• Strong communication and people skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams • Competency in using computer systems for data entry and documentation • Desirable: Familiarity with ISO quality standards or equivalent quality frameworks • Desirable: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
