Product Manager - Growth — Fireworks AI

The Role

As a Product Manager, Growth, you're going to play a critical role driving growth and adoption for our product portfolio. You will improve how developers discover our platform, reach a successful model call, come back, and expand. The surface areas include inference, training, nexus, and the product around them: signup, docs, API and playground flows, model choice, errors, pricing, and the path from first request to a workflow someone relies on.

Responsibilities

• Build and run a roadmap across acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization. Choose the few bets that change adoption, and leave the rest.
• Take features from ideas through launch across the product suite. Own the developer moments that decide whether someone succeeds: time to first working request, a useful error, docs that match the product, a default model that is the right one, and a reason to come back.
• Analyze product metrics and use behavior to identify gaps and validate fixes
• Work across engineers, marketing, design, and product to drive broad cross functional execution
• Spend time with developers. Learn how they actually build, including auth, model choice, latency, cost, evals, and the first time a call fails. Bring that context back in a form the team can build from.
• Drive execution across engineering, design, marketing, and product so growth shows up in the product, not in a side project.

Experience

• Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience in A/B testing and funnel optimization
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and a track record of aligning engineers, designers, and go-to-market partners around a shared plan
• Thrives in ambiguous, extremely fast-paced environments, and can turn incomplete information into a clear next step
• Technical background, including Bachelor/Masters degree in CS

Preferred Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience, with the majority in developer experience or growth PM roles
• Experience shipping on widely used products, with a bonus for consumption-based products
• Experience building PLG and self-serve inside a business that also runs a sales-led motion
