Software Development Engineer II - Frontend

Job Title: SDE2 – Frontend

Location: Bangalore, India Experience: 4–6 years

Role Overview

As a Frontend Developer, you will be primarily responsible for planning, designing, and developing scalable and high-performance SaaS applications.

Responsibilities

• Build next-generation web applications that are efficient, reusable, scalable, and focused on delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Explore and design dynamic, intuitive, and compelling user experiences.
• Architect, develop, and test highly interactive frontend web applications and reusable components using modern web technologies and frameworks.
• Identify and communicate best practices for frontend application architecture and development.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle as part of a Scrum team.
• Take ownership of the quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability of the products and code you build.
• Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Developers to implement versatile and scalable frontend solutions.
• Actively participate in design and code reviews to build robust applications and prototypes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement frontend solutions, adopt emerging web standards, and continuously improve the product experience.

Qualifications

• Should hold a bachelor’s degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 4+ years of professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, React Query, TypeScript, and Redux.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms.
• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Strong fundamentals in frontend software development, including Data Structures & Algorithms and problem-solving.
• Ability to write well-abstracted, reusable, maintainable, and highly performant code for interactive UI components.
• Good understanding of frontend architecture, component design, state management, and API integration.
