This opportunity is full-time during first shift.

In this role, you will:

  • Perform a vital part of the patient care process by ensuring specimens are properly processed, prepared, routed, and stored
  • Work within a highly automated, fast-paced environment, including loading and unloading instrumentation and maintaining workflow efficiency
  • Perform physically active tasks, including routine lifting of up to 40-50 lbs
  • Support equipment operations by clearing consumables and assisting with the proper disposal of biohazard waste
  • Follow established procedures and quality standards to ensure accurate processing and workflow efficiency
  • Recognize when corrective action is needed and implement effective solutions
  • Work in an environment with biological materials while adhering to PPE and safety requirements
  • Champion safety, compliance, and quality standards

All you need is:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working in healthcare, manufacturing, production, warehouse, logistics, fulfillment, specimen processing, or another fast-paced, process-driven environment is preferred but not required.
  • Strong reading, writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to operate and learn equipment and technology, including computers, automated systems, and laboratory instrumentation
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including frequent lifting (up to 40-50 lbs), standing, and repetitive motion in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with biological specimens and dispose of biohazard materials in accordance with safety protocols.

This role will have routine access to Protected Health Information (PHI). Employees will be trained on reasonable safeguards and are expected to maintain strict confidentiality, as well as abide by all applicable privacy and security standards.
