About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A to provide financial insights and analysis that help guide business decisions and support the company’s strategic and financial goals.

In this role, you’ll partner with Finance leadership and teams across the organization to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. You’ll develop financial models, identify key business drivers, and translate complex financial information into meaningful insights and recommendations.

The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and collaborative, with the ability to dig into the details while understanding the bigger business picture.

What You’ll Do

• Support the annual budgeting and planning process, partnering with department leaders to develop financial plans and forecasts.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial forecasts, projections, and performance reporting.
• Analyze financial and operational results, including profitability, trends, costs, and performance against budget and forecast.
• Identify and analyze key business drivers and develop financial models to support short- and long-term decision-making.
• Prepare financial reporting and analysis across areas such as region, product, and customer.
• Translate complex financial data into clear insights, recommendations, and presentations for leadership.
• Partner with business leaders to improve financial understanding and support data-driven decision-making.
• Support the capital planning process, including analysis of capital expenditures and spending proposals.
• Provide financial analysis for strategic initiatives focused on revenue growth, productivity improvements, and cost savings.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and efficiencies across the organization.
• Collaborate with Corporate Finance and cross-functional partners to support organizational goals.
• Support financial analysis for M&A opportunities and other strategic projects, as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive FP&A experience.
• Strong financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and analytical skills.
• Solid understanding of financial statements, financial reporting, and key business drivers.
• Ability to synthesize complex data and translate it into clear, actionable business insights.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Strong collaboration and business-partnering skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across departments.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment and adjusting priorities as business needs evolve.
• Experience working in a global or cross-cultural environment preferred.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

• Domestic and international travel may be required.
• This position is on-site in Salt Lake City and operates in a professional office and laboratory environment.
• Candidates must be able to comply with applicable company policies, training requirements, and relevant regulatory standards.
