ABOUT SPRIG
Sprig is an enterprise survey platform powered by AI agents. We help organizations move from question to evidence faster by transforming how research is designed, fielded, and synthesized. Instead of relying on manual survey programming, static forms, and time-consuming analysis, Sprig combines modern survey infrastructure with specialized agents that accelerate every stage of the research process.
Research teams use Sprig to run customer surveys, market research, experience measurement, journey research, concept testing, and strategic studies. Whether collecting feedback from customers, prospects, panel participants, or users inside a product, Sprig helps teams gather higher-quality data and uncover deeper insights.
Leading companies including Microsoft, Figma, Notion, Ramp, DoorDash, Coinbase, Harvey, and Robinhood use Sprig to continuously learn from customers, understand markets, validate ideas, and improve products.
By combining enterprise survey capabilities with AI-powered agents, Sprig enables teams to move faster, make better decisions, and turn research into a competitive advantage.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Sprig is looking for an experienced and engaging individual to bring the user research community together, build meaningful relationships with industry leaders, and help make Sprig a trusted and recognized voice in the research space.
You’ll have the opportunity to conduct your own user research, but this is not a traditional in-house UX Research role. Instead of owning research for a single product, you’ll apply your expertise across some of the world’s most innovative companies to help research teams understand how they can improve their programs, identifying opportunities to make research more effective and scalable, and advising them on how to get more value from their research practice.
You’ll also turn what you learn across the industry into original research, thought leadership, and a strong point of view on where UX Research is headed. You’ll publish insights, build relationships with research leaders, speak at industry events, and serve as a trusted research expert in strategic customer and prospect conversations.
Sitting at the intersection of research, thought leadership, and marketing, this role is ideal for an experienced researcher who loves the craft but wants to expand their impact beyond a single company:working across organizations, solving interesting research challenges, and helping influence how research is practiced across the industry.
YOUR IMPACT
- Advise and support some of the world’s leading research teams. Work directly with customers to understand their research practices, workflows, and organizational challenges, applying your expertise to identify gaps and recommend methodologies, use cases, and best practices that make research more impactful, efficient, and scalable.
- Become a trusted voice in the research community. Represent Sprig at conferences, panels, webinars, executive roundtables, dinners, meetups, and other industry programs while building authentic relationships with researchers and research leaders.
- Help shape the future of research at Sprig. Serve as our in-house research expert, bringing a practitioner’s perspective into product strategy and helping build the leading AI-native enterprise research platform, from multi-agent research workflows to intelligent survey infrastructure.
- Conduct and publish original industry research. Design surveys, interviews, benchmarking studies, and other research that uncover meaningful trends across the research community and turn those findings into reports, articles, presentations, and industry insights.
- Create thought leadership researchers actually want to read. Partner with Marketing to develop high-quality content including research reports, articles, playbooks, webinars, social content, and practical resources for research and product teams.
YOUR STRENGTHS
- Researcher at Heart: You bring meaningful UX Research experience and a deep understanding of how research operates within modern product organizations, with a natural curiosity for uncovering patterns, developing insights, and turning them into actionable recommendations.
- Consultative & Strategic: You quickly understand how organizations operate, ask thoughtful questions to diagnose challenges, and provide credible guidance that helps research practitioners and leaders improve their research practices.
- Excited to Expand Your Impact: You may be ready for something different from a traditional in-house UXR role and are energized by the opportunity to work across multiple organizations and influence the practice of research at an industry level.
- Exceptional Communicator & Storyteller: You can turn complex research concepts and findings into clear, compelling narratives and are comfortable facilitating conversations, presenting ideas, and engaging audiences from research practitioners to product leaders and executives. Conference speaking experience is a plus, but not required.
- Strong Writer : You enjoy writing and can translate your expertise into thoughtful, useful content. You don’t need to already be a prolific creator or have a large personal following.
- Relationship-Driven: You genuinely enjoy meeting other researchers, exchanging ideas, and building long-term relationships across the community.
- Collaborative & Adaptable: You enjoy working across Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product, and are comfortable taking ownership, navigating ambiguity, and moving fast.
At Sprig, we pride ourselves on being a people-first company, where your contributions truly matter and are valued. We were recently awarded by Fortune as top 50 best places to work in the US, and top 50 Places to Work in the Bay Area by Built In. Come join our mission of building products users love and have a real impact on Sprig’s future.
