SUMMARY

Strider is seeking an Government Contracts Specialist to support the acquisition strategy and contract execution behind our growing U.S. government business. In this role, you will help Strider navigate the federal acquisition process, develop contracting strategies, manage government contracts from opportunity through execution, and provide guidance on the regulatory and contractual requirements that shape our federal business.

You will work across the full acquisition and contracting lifecycle—from monitoring procurement opportunities and informing acquisition strategy to supporting proposals, negotiating agreements, tracking funding and modifications, and managing Strider’s General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule contract. You will partner closely with Growth and Strider’s General Counsel to help teams understand acquisition requirements, evaluate contracting approaches, and move opportunities efficiently toward execution.

This role offers the opportunity to apply federal acquisition expertise in a growing national security technology company, with meaningful ownership of the processes and strategies that enable Strider to serve government customers. KEY QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of related professional experience.

- Experience supporting U.S. government acquisition or contracting activities, with demonstrated knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).

- Experience executing multiple stages of the federal acquisition or contract lifecycle, such as acquisition planning, solicitation and proposal development, source selection, contract award, administration, modification, and closeout.

- Experience reviewing, developing, or negotiating federal contracts and related agreements.

- Knowledge of federal contract types and pricing approaches, including firm-fixed-price, cost-plus or cost-reimbursement arrangements, and cost and price analysis.

- Experience working with federal or military contracting organizations and familiarity with GSA Schedule contracting.

- Demonstrated ability to interpret acquisition and contractual requirements, identify issues, and communicate clear guidance to business and legal stakeholders.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop and review acquisition, proposal, and contract documentation.

- Ability to maintain accurate contract records and manage funding, modifications, deadlines, and other administrative requirements across multiple contracting activities.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. SECRET security clearance.

One or more of the following certifications or equivalent federal acquisition credentials:

- Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM)

- Certified Commercial Contracts Manager (CCCM)

- Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM)

- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification or credential

DESCRIPTION

As an Acquisition / Contract Analyst, you will support both the strategic and operational aspects of Strider’s federal contracting activities. You will work with Growth, Legal, and other internal stakeholders to identify viable acquisition pathways, support competitive pursuits, execute agreements, and maintain Strider’s government contracts throughout their lifecycle.

You will:

- Contribute to acquisition and contracting strategies that support Strider’s annual operating plan and federal growth priorities.

- Manage contract execution processes for Strider’s federal business from initial development through review, negotiation, and signature.

- Administer active government contracts, including tracking funding, modifications, contractual requirements, and other key actions throughout the contract lifecycle.

- Partner with Strider’s General Counsel to review contracts and proposals for alignment with internal policies and provide acquisition guidance related to applicable federal requirements, including the FAR, DFARS, and DoD Directive 5000 series.

- Monitor SAM.gov http://SAM.gov, Tradewinds, Needipedia, and other government procurement resources for acquisition activity and solicitations relevant to Strider’s capabilities.

- Manage and support ongoing administration of Strider’s GSA Multiple Award Schedule contract.

- Develop and review solicitation and proposal materials in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other government procurement actions.

- Support the development, negotiation, and execution of contracts, contract modifications, teaming agreements, subcontract agreements, and consortium agreements.

- Evaluate acquisition requirements and contracting approaches and provide clear recommendations to internal stakeholders.

- Coordinate with Growth, Legal, and other teams to anticipate contracting requirements, resolve issues, and support timely progression of federal opportunities.
