Job Description:

JR Automation is searching for an experienced Account Manager to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relationship with (potential) customers.
• Generate purchase orders to meet or exceed annual goal.
• Continually contact prospective customers based on leads from business directories or other sources.
• Maintain & submit appropriate records for forecasting, quote status & expenses.
• Assist Applications Engineers as needed in developing solutions to the customer’s needs.
• Support all aspects sales and marketing for geographic territoryMarket research in geographic areaIndustry trends Geographic market understanding Competitive landscape Niche opportunity identification Support lead generation activities Value proposition development and communication Support marketing effortsTrade show participation Marketing collateral Trade associations involvement Support aftermarket sales Coordinate with BU’sAlign product offerings with market needs Standard product design Identify unique IP opportunities Goal setting and alignment of activity to support goals
• Maintain & submit appropriate records for forecasting, quote status & expenses.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of previous sales and new business development experience.
• Possess a winning and creative approach to work when identifying customer solutions.
• Proven ability to continually grow and develop accounts based on leads from customer stakeholders and prospecting within other divisions of their organization.
• Ability to travel up to 80% of the time. Remainder of time is home based.
