Technical Testing and Quality Assurance
- Support Test Engineers in conducting product, panel and system testing activities.
- Prepare standard test procedures, test records and technical documentation.
- Perform functional testing of protection, control, and substation automation schemes.
- Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities with customers and stakeholders.
- Ensure all testing activities are executed in compliance with Hitachi Energy quality standards and customer requirements.
- Adhere to all safety standards, policies, and procedures while performing testing activities.
Planning and Execution
- Follow established work plans, schedules, and cost estimates within your area of responsibility.
- Support the timely and cost-effective delivery of testing and commissioning activities.
- Contribute to achieving project milestones while maintaining high-quality standards.
Risk Management
- Assist with risk assessments to ensure safe systems of work.
- Identify potential hazards and participate in implementing appropriate mitigation measures.
- Promote a proactive safety culture throughout all testing and commissioning activities.
Processes and Continuous Improvement
- Apply standardized engineering processes, procedures and testing tools.
- Ensure compliance with applicable external regulations, internal procedures and company guidelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, efficiency and safety.
Site Support
- Provide support to Commissioning Engineers during site activities as required.
- Assist with commissioning, troubleshooting, and system verification activities at customer installations.
- Gain exposure to on-site substation and power system applications.

Technical Competencies
- Understanding of protection relays, protection and control schemes and substation automation systems.
- Experience with testing and engineering tools such as Omicron Test Universe and Hitachi PCM600 is highly desirable.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, relay settings, schematics and control logic documentation.
