What You’ll Do The Workforce Development Manager provides strategic oversight and leadership for all Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs within Florida Youth College (FYC) residential facilities within their designated region. This position ensures program quality, compliance, and alignment with Forida’s high-demand industries. The Manager services as an industry specific expert and develops and maintains statewide partnerships with education providers, employers, industry associations, workforce boards, and postsecondary institutions to expand workforce opportunities for justice-involved youths. This position reports to the Director or of Postsecondary and Workforce Education (through the Florida Youth College grant, a partnership between Tallahassee State College and the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice).

The ability to travel throughout assigned Northwest Region including Circuits 1 (Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton Counties), 2 (Franklin, Liberty, Gadsden, Leon, Wakulla, and Jefferson Counties), 3 (Madison, Taylor, Hamilton, Suwanee, Lafayette, Dixie, and Columbia Counties 8 (Baker, Union, Bradford, Gilchrist, Alachua, and Levy Counties) and 14 (Bay, Washington, Holmes, Jackson, Calhoun, and Gulf Counties).
