VP, Global Security, Networking and Communications
Job Purpose:
This executive role carries two enterprise-critical mandates: global ownership of the Cisco business and leadership of the global Security business. In partnership with senior leaders across the regions, vendors, and country teams, this leader will set the strategic direction for how TD SYNNEX grows, evolves, and scales these businesses worldwide.
The role is accountable for defining and executing a multi-year transformational strategy that advances the CISCO and Security portfolio toward higher-value solutions across cloud, networking, data and AI, data center, and services. Success will require translating enterprise strategy into clear growth priorities, aligning global stakeholders, accelerating the adoption of critical capabilities, and leveraging the matrix model to drive disciplined execution across regions, vendors, and solution teams.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute an aspirational, CISCO multi-year growth strategy aligned to TD SYNNEX’s enterprise priorities, with a focus on accelerating higher-value solutions across cloud, data and AI, security, services, networking, and communications.
- Define and advance the global strategy for Security, ensuring the business captures market growth, expands vendor-funded opportunities, and strengthens TD SYNNEX’s competitive position across key regions.
- Lead through influence across a complex global matrix, partnering with regional presidents, country leaders, vendor teams, and solution-area leaders to align priorities, remove barriers, and drive disciplined execution from global strategy through regional and country-level implementation.
- Build and deepen strategic relationships with leading Security vendors, securing the financial, technical, and programmatic support required to accelerate transformation and scale new business opportunities globally.
- Establish a consistent rhythm of business with global and regional leaders, including executive exchanges, business reviews, and governance forums that maintain alignment, accountability, and momentum against growth and transformation objectives.
- Identify and act on emerging market trends, customer needs, and portfolio opportunities, ensuring TD SYNNEX grows faster than the market across CISCO and Security while delivering against AFC targets.
- Drive adoption of critical platforms, digital programs, practices, and services, including PartnerFirst, that strengthen global capabilities and enable scalable execution across CISCO and Security.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field required.
- Master’s degree, postgraduate degree, or MBA in Security, Networking, Business, or a related discipline preferred.
- 10 to 15+ years of relevant leadership experience, including direct experience with Cisco, demonstrated experience in the security industry, and a strong understanding of the channel.
- Security and Networking technical and sales experience, with the ability to translate market, vendor, and customer needs into scalable growth strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a complex, global matrix organization, aligning senior stakeholders across regions, countries, functions, and vendor teams.
- 15+ years of people leadership experience, including direct management and development of high-performing teams.

Working Conditions:
- Frequent Travel Required (30%).
- Global travel required.
- On-call availability required as necessary.
- Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
