Overview

The Campaign Management Specialist is a key member of Condé Nast’s Campaign Management team within the Digital organization. The Campaign Management Specialist is responsible for the implementation of direct and programmatic guaranteed campaigns across display, video, and email. This role is critical to the success of our campaigns and is directly responsible for technical feasibility, trafficking, and management of pacing, delivery and revenue at risk. The Campaign Management Specialist also partners with outsourced vendor team members on training needs and reinforcing best practices.

Campaign Management works closely with Digital Media Strategy, Monetization & Yield, CN Ad Studio, and Revenue Operations teams. The ideal candidate has proven experience with ad trafficking and reporting, and a curiosity about the media landscape and digital technologies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of all digital ad campaigns for a given sales team, ensuring execution according to insertion orders.
  • Work with clients and agencies to manage technical implementation of all third-party tagging. Thoroughly test and QA all ads prior to launch.
  • Coordinate with outsourced vendor partners, handling administrative tasks associated with launching campaigns.
  • Actively monitor all assigned campaigns, optimizing against deliverable goals, and providing recommendations for optimal performance against KPIs.
  • Play an active role in tracking revenue at risk and working with digital partners on optimization solutions
  • Stay up to date with the industry to help guide sales and marketers on new products and changes within the digital landscape.
  • Maintain expert knowledge on ad specs, ad units, our sites and platforms and translate technical details with internal and external partners as appropriate
  • Expert knowledge of Google Ad Manager and campaign delivery, serving as primary liaison and support for sales operations colleagues.

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of digital Ad Operations experience
  • Expertise with Google Ad Manager or other ad servers a must
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to self-prioritize tasks
  • Proficient in G-Suite, Excel, comfortable with organizing data
  • Familiarity with DV Publisher Suite, any OMS, or LiveIntent beneficial
  • Knowledge of developer tools or HTML beneficial

The expected base salary range for this position is from $77,000 - $85,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including but not limited to relevant skills, training, experience, and education.

In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates may also be eligible to receive discretionary bonus compensation.
