YOUR TASKS

As a Building Technician, you support our Facility Team in ensuring smooth and reliable site operations. You are the go-to person for practical facility topics and contribute your technical know-how and hands-on skills wherever quick, reliable and pragmatic solutions are needed in day-to-day operations.

Your responsibilities include in particular:

  • Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance work in the building and on the technical infrastructure
  • Working on electrical equipment and systems within the scope of your qualification
  • Supporting general hands-on maintenance and repair tasks in daily site operations
  • Supporting the execution and documentation of recurring inspection and control tasks, e.g. on doors, locks, hold-open systems, emergency lighting and door monitoring devices
  • Troubleshooting, initial assessment and, where possible, resolving issues in the building or with operating equipment
  • Supporting the coordination of external service providers for maintenance, repair and servicing work

YOUR SKILLS

  • Ideally, you have completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering, e.g. as an electrician, electrical installer, electronics technician for energy and building technology or a comparable qualification. This is an advantage, but not a must.
  • Professional experience in building services, facility maintenance, technical maintenance or a comparable technical environment
  • Good technical understanding and practical hands-on skills
  • Independent, reliable and solution-oriented way of working
  • Sense of responsibility and a good eye for safety, order and functionality
  • Service-oriented attitude and enjoyment in supporting colleagues in their day-to-day work
  • Class B driving licence is an advantage
