The Jackson Laboratory is inviting applications for Assistant and Associate Professors at The Jackson Laboratory for Mammalian Genetics campus in Bar Harbor, Maine. We are seeking faculty pursuing multi-disciplinary approaches in the following general research areas:
- Aging and age-related diseases
- Systems immunology
- Computational biology
The Jackson Laboratory (JAX; www.jax.org) is an independent, nonprofit biomedical research institution. Faculty research focuses on genetic and genomic approaches to conduct basic and translational research on fundamental biological questions and associated disease processes. The Jackson Laboratory is well-known for its deep expertise and innovation in mouse and human models and researchers have the opportunity to combine these approaches with state-of-the-art, highly subsidized and professionally managed, shared scientific services and robust data science initiatives to support the ongoing work in our laboratories.
Successful candidates must hold a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree; have two to five years of postdoctoral training; have a record of significant research accomplishments; and present long-term research goals consistent with establishing and/or maintaining a highly successful research program.
Pay Range
Assistant Level: 129,759 - 158,955
Associate Level: 155,239 - 194,048
