Backend Software Engineer - TikTok Search

Detailed responsibilities include but not limited to: - Product Development: Support fast iterations of TikTok Search business and further enable the product growth. - Performance & Stability: Build a fast and robust Search product by keeping optimizing system performance and improving service stability. - Search Engineering Infrastructure: Guarantee reasonable Search architecture governance to ensure that the overall system operates smoothly. - Search offline processing: Construct a high freshness multi-media index and provide a reliable offline data support for Search Engine. - Backend engineering team building, management and development.

Minimum Qualification(s): - BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other relevant majors with 3+ years of experience - Excellent problem analysis and solving skills, and industry experience in building backend services for large-scale consumer-facing applications. - Good at coding, data structures and basic algorithms - Good team communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualification(s): - Good understanding of how modern search system is built or how modern search product should be evolved. - Industry experience in building a consumer-facing search product. - Experience in building a medium-size backend technical team from scratch.
