Responsibilities Develop and implement scalable strategies to prevent or disrupt abuse while ensuring adherences to industry regulations and legal frameworks. Leverage user and regulatory data, quality and compliance metrics, and intelligence sources to identify potential risks and conduct proactive investigations. Discover emerging threats and trends with an emphasis on geo-political, cultural or societal differences that may impact regulatory compliance and enforcement strategies. Consult and advise on the design of regulatory countermeasures to mitigate risks, enhance compliance and strengthen enforcement mechanisms. Liaise with policy teams on the development of trust and safety policies in compliance with regional regulations.

Qualifications Must have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; or a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), Information Technology, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Conducting policy research and analysis on the following: online safety, content moderation, technology policy, and internet regulation; Managing projects involving cross-functional stakeholders to formulate workplans, drive alignment, coordinate collaboration, and deliver strategic business outcomes; Using VLOOKUP and Pivot tables to organize and report data; Leveraging SQL, Python, R, or LLM tools to detect, analyze, and disrupt coordinated abuse, spam, and scams; Building dashboards, including tables and graphs, to enable the monitoring of business performance metrics and conducting root-cause-analysis of metric movements; Implementing global trust and safety policies, workflows, and enforcement protocols to address online threats; Investigating user cases and designing countermeasures to reduce risks; and Developing automated detection rules and enforcement mechanisms.

Travel Requirement: Domestic and international travel required up to 5%.
