The Business Analyst supports business and technology initiatives by translating operational needs into clear system solutions. This role partners with stakeholders and technology teams to improve workflows, define requirements, and support system modernization efforts.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Work directly with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and define practical system solutions.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering teams to clarify requirements, system behaviors, data needs, and integration points.
• Analyze existing workflows to identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or automate processes.
• Help define how systems interact, including APIs, integrations, and data movement between platforms.
• Support modernization initiatives by bridging legacy processes with new platform capabilities.
• Facilitate working sessions that align business and technical teams on objectives and solutions.
• Assist with validating solutions and ensuring delivered functionality meets intended business outcomes.
• Identify project dependencies, risks, and gaps early in the development and delivery process.
• Contribute to initiatives involving mobile applications, customer communications, payments, and internal workflow systems.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, or a related field preferred.
• Five (5) or more years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Product Analyst.
• Experience working closely with software engineering teams in Agile environments.
• Experience modeling business processes and documenting system interactions.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, walk, and/or sit for eight (8) hours a day
• Communicate effectively, verbally, written, in person, via telephone, or electronically.
• Lift and maneuver up to 20 lbs.
