TransPerfect Gaming is looking for freelance SIMPLIFIED CHINESE to JAPANESE gaming translators to collaborate on exciting localization projects. You'll work on everything from indie games to AAA titles, ensuring the best gaming experience for JAPANESE players.

🔹 What We’re Looking For:

✅ Native-level proficiency in JAPANESE

✅ Strong command of ENGLISH and SIMPLIFIED CHINESE

✅ Deep passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming terminology

✅ Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming localization (SIMPLIFIED CHINESE>JAPANESE)

✅ Expertise in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy games

✅ Skilled in CAT tools

✅ Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills

✅ Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, creative environment

📌 A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training)

📌 2+ years of translation experience + a college degree

📌 5+ years of translation experience (no degree required)

📌 A translation certification issued by an appropriate government body
