Job Description

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Senior Project Manager - Clean Energy to join our growing team. The Senior Project Manager is a part of the team to safely deliver the expansion projects at the client site.

The position is responsible for the full project lifecycle from project set up and initiation through all of the delivery stages of their respective scope of the project to closure. This role will be responsible for expansion projects with a total value of $300-700M range. With full accountability for delivering assigned project(s) on time and to budget. The role is responsible for project delivery through supply chain. The ability to succeed by leveraging supply chain and collaboration with others is essential to this role.

Project Delivery Strategy

• Advise, consult, and provide feedback in the development of the Expansion Program.
• Overall responsibility for the delivery of the building and infrastructure elements, to meet safety, scope, cost, schedule and business benefits objectives. Develop, implement and communicate strategies, objectives and benefits to achieve maximum business benefit.
• Extensive knowledge of the EPC contractor and construction supply contract types and models to gain insights into their relative strengths and weaknesses

Integration

• Key member of the high performance team, ensuring flawless integration of all sub-disciplines, functions and with the site throughout the project lifecycle
• Foster and enhance owner relationships with the FEED/EPCM/ contractor, subcontractors and vendors.

Commercial Position Assurance

• Ensure client commercial position is robustly protected through the application of industry best practice in the execution of the FEED/EPCM/contractor supply chain.
• Facilitate the development and prepare decision ready information for Project Team and client Executives to enable project success.

Safety Culture Leadership

• Actively promote a pro-active safety culture, and be a role model, throughout the project lifecycle and across the group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or applicable bachelor’s degree and or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in Nuclear, Energy, Chemical, Data Center or other highly-regulated Industrial Facilities.
• PMP certification required.
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
• Proven experience managing full project lifecycle ownership with assigned budgets.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budget development and cost control.
• Direct experience working in highly regulated environments.
• Superior communication skills, with the ability to converse confidently and professionally with senior project management peers and technical stakeholders.

Additional Requirements

• Must be willing and able to work on‑site in Eunice, New Mexico
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

Preferred Experience

• Prior work in nuclear facilities or similarly regulated industrial settings.
• Experience managing large‑scale or high‑risk project.
