Job Summary:
This position supports the EHS Manager in implementing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on safety compliance, occupational health management, hazard identification, training execution, and maintaining EHS systems to reduce risks and ensure regulatory compliance for stable production operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collect and investigate safety incidents including PSIF, near-misses, first-aid cases, and recordable injuries; track corrective and preventive actions and maintain incident records.
- Conduct routine hazard inspections in workshops, ammonia refrigeration areas, and hazardous chemical zones; follow up on corrective actions.
- Assist in organizing and implementing emergency response drills (fire, ammonia leakage, confined space, evacuation, environmental incidents).
- Deliver safety training programs, including onboarding safety education; maintain training records and documentation.
- Identify occupational health hazards and supervise implementation of preventive measures; track employee health status and physical examinations.
- Maintain and update EHS laws, regulations, and internal compliance requirements; support internal compliance reviews.
- Support safety culture initiatives across the site.
Education:
College diploma or above in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
Work Experience:
Minimum 3 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in meat processing or ammonia refrigeration industries preferred.
Licensure, Registration and/or Certification:
Registered Safety Engineer Certificate (required).
