Ubiquiti Prague office is looking for talented Java Developer for the UniFi Team.

You’ll be working on the UniFi application back-end to develop efficient, scalable and maintainable features.

Candidates should be prepared to work from our Prague office at least two times per week.

The project stack: Java 25; Spring Boot 4.0; PostgreSQL; Github Actions; Go.

Responsibilities:

• REST API development
• Develop integrations with network device firmware and other UniFi OS applications
• Participate in all phases of development, including feature design and testing
• Code reviews for other team members

Requirements:

• Senior-level engineering experience, typically 5+ years shipping production systems
• Strong problem-solving and systems thinking - you can break down ambiguous problems and design good solutions
• Good understanding of SOLID principles
• Experience in web application development
• Daily, fluent use of AI coding assistants as a core part of your workflow
• Fluent in English

Nice to have:

• Fluent in Czech
• Java and Spring framework knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of networking
• Familiarity with storage systems, including block or object storage
• Experience with Bash and Unix
