Real Estate Attorney - Germany

Unison Infrastructure is a real estate investment company focused on renewable energy and digital infrastructure. We acquire and manage real estate assets in the United States and Europe that host critical infrastructure, including wind and solar projects, battery storage, communications towers, wireless sites, and enterprise data centers. Backed in partnership with a global investment house, Unison is growing rapidly in existing verticals and expanding into new markets.

The Role: English

• Manage real estate transactions in Germany from structuring through closing
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, lease agreements, purchase agreements, LOIs, and notarial deeds
• Conduct legal due diligence in real estate including title checks, lease audits, and risk assessments
• Oversee transaction closings, including preparation of closing documents and financial coordination
• Collaborate with notaries, external counsel, banks, fund managers, and real estate advisors
• Act as a key contact for brokers, site owners, and internal stakeholders
• Work closely with the US legal team and European leadership on cross-border matters
• Manage legal documentation using tools such as SharePoint, ensuring compliance and audit readiness
• Support property tax and regulatory legal matters in Germany
• Contribute to European expansion projects, supporting transactions in additional jurisdictions
• Train internal teams on real estate law, transactions, and legal best practices
• Qualified German lawyer (Volljurist) or equivalent European legal qualification
• Strong experience in real estate law, property law, or infrastructure transactions
• Proven expertise in due diligence, contract negotiation, and transaction management
• Experience working with notaries and external advisors in Germany
• Background in commercial real estate, telecom infrastructure, or investment transactions is a plus
• Excellent legal drafting skills in German and English
• Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment

Die Rolle: Deutsch

• Eigenverantwortliche Steuerung von Immobilientransaktionen (Structuring bis Closing) in Deutschland
• Erstellung, Prüfung und Verhandlung von Kaufverträgen, Mietverträgen, LOIs, Term Sheets und notariellen Urkunden
• Durchführung von Legal Due Diligence im Immobilienrecht (Grundbuch, Mietverträge, Risikoanalysen)
• Steuerung und Begleitung von Closings inkl. Dokumentation und Zahlungsprozesse
• Zusammenarbeit mit Notaren, externen Kanzleien, Banken, Fondsmanagern und Beratern
• Enge Abstimmung mit Maklern, Grundstückseigentümern und internen Teams
• Zusammenarbeit mit der US Legal Abteilung sowie europäischen Stakeholdern
• Verwaltung von Vertrags- und Transaktionsdokumenten (z. B. SharePoint)
• Rechtliche Beratung zu Grundsteuer- und immobilienrechtlichen Fragestellungen
• Unterstützung bei europäischen Expansionsprojekten und Cross-Border-Transaktionen
• Schulung interner Teams zu Immobilienrecht und Transaktionsprozessen
• Volljurist / Rechtsanwalt in Deutschland oder vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Berufserfahrung im Immobilienrecht, Grundstücksrecht oder Transaktionsrecht
• Fundierte Kenntnisse in Due Diligence, Vertragsrecht und Deal Management
• Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit Notaren und externen Beratern
• Idealerweise Hintergrund in Commercial Real Estate, Telekommunikation oder Infrastrukturprojekten
• Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (verhandlungssicher)
• Strukturierte Arbeitsweise und Fähigkeit, mehrere Deals parallel zu steuern
