Location: Eugene, OR

Pay Range: $66,000.00 - $76,00.00 annual base salary, with incentive plan

Service Manager (Automotive / Fixed Operations)

We’re hiring a Service Manager to lead our service department in Eugene, OR. —driving performance, improving consistency, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll take ownership of operations, team performance, and service outcomes. With a strong foundation already in place, this role is focused on execution, accountability, and long-term success.

What You’ll Do

Service Department Leadership

  • Lead daily operations of the service department, including workflow, scheduling, and quality control
  • Manage, coach, and develop Service Technicians and service staff
  • Ensure timely, high-quality vehicle service, repairs, and installations

Performance & Operations

  • Drive performance across key metrics:
  • Service revenue and profitability
  • Technician productivity and utilization
  • Turnaround time and workflow efficiency
  • Customer satisfaction and retention
  • Maintain accountability for department KPIs and operational results

Administrative & Systems Management

  • Oversee all service-related administrative functions:
  • Work orders, billing, and documentation
  • Inventory and parts coordination
  • Scheduling and workflow management
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all service records

Systems & Technology Requirements (Key for Success)

We are looking for a Service Manager who is highly comfortable working in systems and using data to drive decisions.

  • Experience working in a Dealer Management System (DMS) required (examples: Dealertrack, Reynolds and Reynolds, CDK Global, etc.)
  • Dealer track experience strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and service-related software
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to:
  • Track and manage technician schedules and work orders digitally
  • Use reporting tools to monitor KPIs and performance
  • Maintain accurate data entry across service and inventory systems

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of automotive or dealership service experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing technicians or service teams
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of organization and accountability
  • Strong computer literacy and systems experience, including DMS usage
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience as a Service Manager, Shop Manager, or Fixed Operations leader
  • Experience with Dealertrack, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar DMS platforms
  • Demonstrated success improving technician productivity and shop performance
  • Experience managing service KPIs and operational reporting
  • Mobility or adaptive vehicle experience (a plus)
