Pay Range: $66,000.00 - $76,00.00 annual base salary, with incentive plan
Service Manager (Automotive / Fixed Operations)
We’re hiring a Service Manager to lead our service department in Eugene, OR. —driving performance, improving consistency, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll take ownership of operations, team performance, and service outcomes. With a strong foundation already in place, this role is focused on execution, accountability, and long-term success.

What You’ll Do
Service Department Leadership
- Lead daily operations of the service department, including workflow, scheduling, and quality control
- Manage, coach, and develop Service Technicians and service staff
- Ensure timely, high-quality vehicle service, repairs, and installations
Performance & Operations
- Drive performance across key metrics:
- Service revenue and profitability
- Technician productivity and utilization
- Turnaround time and workflow efficiency
- Customer satisfaction and retention
- Maintain accountability for department KPIs and operational results
Administrative & Systems Management
- Oversee all service-related administrative functions:
- Work orders, billing, and documentation
- Inventory and parts coordination
- Scheduling and workflow management
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all service records
Systems & Technology Requirements (Key for Success)
We are looking for a Service Manager who is highly comfortable working in systems and using data to drive decisions.
- Experience working in a Dealer Management System (DMS) required (examples: Dealertrack, Reynolds and Reynolds, CDK Global, etc.)
- Dealer track experience strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and service-related software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to:
- Track and manage technician schedules and work orders digitally
- Use reporting tools to monitor KPIs and performance
- Maintain accurate data entry across service and inventory systems

What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of automotive or dealership service experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience managing technicians or service teams
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High level of organization and accountability
- Strong computer literacy and systems experience, including DMS usage
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Service Manager, Shop Manager, or Fixed Operations leader
- Experience with Dealertrack, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar DMS platforms
- Demonstrated success improving technician productivity and shop performance
- Experience managing service KPIs and operational reporting
- Mobility or adaptive vehicle experience (a plus)
