Job description:

Universal Logistics is now hiring dock clerks out of our Memphis, TN facility. We are seeking aggressive, forward thinking and highly motivated candidates to work in a team environment. Now is a great time to join our growing operation!

Openings:

1st shift: 7:00am-3:00pm

2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm

3rd Shift: 11:00pm-7:00am

Dock Clerk responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Customer service - Assisting drivers, retrieving vendor BOL, answering phone calls.
• Verifying BOL are correct from vendors.
• General administrative duties
• Provide support to management

Dock Clerk Qualifications:

• 1-2 years in a transportation, logistics or distribution center environment preferred but not required
• Able to work a maximum 40 hour work week.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to details
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Strong computer skills; Microsoft office experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-pace environment
