Clinical Assistant Professor - Pediatrics (Hospitalist)

This Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics at the University of Kansas Medical Center will provide care for hospitalized patients in the Pediatrics Unit. The role includes delivering evidence-based care in inpatient settings, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support patient health and safety. In addition, the Clinical Assistant Professor will plan an active role in the education and training of residents, medical students, and fellows as well as participate in departmental and divisional academic, quality improvement and scholarly activities.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the faculty member actively participates in the education, training and mentorship of learners including medical students, residents, fellows, and other trainees. The individual also contributes to departmental and divisional academic activities through teaching, scholarly engagement, quality improvement initiatives, committee service, institutional meetings, other activities that advance the missions of the department, division and institution.

Education: MD, DO, or foreign equivalent.
