ABOUT THE ROLE


The grant-funded Social Work Recruitment and Placement Coordinator supports the administration of the California Social Work Education Capacity Expansion grant (SWECE) for the Master of Social Work program. The role focuses on outreach, recruitment, and student field placement in underserved California communities, in collaboration with Strategic Partnership Associates and Social Work faculty and staff. Works closely with the MSW Program Director and MSW Field Director to meet grant requirements and coordinate field placements. Specifically, this position provides comprehensive support to students seeking field placement/supplemental supervision, field faculty, agency supervisors, directors and executive directors through implementation of placement procedures and policy.
The position is grant funded and is anticipated to end by June 30, 2027.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR LICENSES:
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Machines, Tools, Equipment, Electronic Devices and Software: Strong competence in Microsoft Office is expected. Knowledge of SharePoint and Sonia is preferred.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Working conditions are generally normal for an office environment. Position may be required to work flexible hours given the varied availabilities of field site agency personnel and other stakeholders. California residency is required, as travel within California is required approximately 1-4 times a year. Applicants for this position are subject to a background check and a criminal history review.
