As the Regional Director of Sales, you will be responsible for overseeing the performance of Partner Directors of Sales and Sales Managers across a portfolio of partner brands in your region. You will play a key leadership role in growing revenue, scaling high-performing sales teams, and ensuring consistent execution of the Vertex Sales Methodology. Your leadership will shape sales talent, instill performance discipline, and strengthen our culture of excellence, professionalism, and fun. This is a high-impact role with a direct influence on Vertex’s long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive revenue growth across partner brands by coaching and developing Sales Managers and Partner Directors of Sales
• Support recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and development of Sales Managers and Sales Leaders across multiple territories
• Reinforce and standardize Vertex Sales Methodology across partner companies with the support of market sales trainers
• Lead performance management through KPIs such as close rate %, NSLI, financing utilization, first-call close %, and sales team pipeline growth
• Conduct ride-alongs, shadowing, and coaching sessions with Sales Managers to elevate effectiveness and team performance
• Identify sales process gaps and lead coaching and training sessions focused on consultative selling, closing techniques, and sales leadership
• Standardize effective weekly sales meetings and leadership rhythms with Sales Managers and Partner Directors
• Collaborate with General Managers and operational leaders to align sales and operational goals and accountability structures
• Share and scale sales best practices across partner companies to improve team performance and efficiency
• Partner with training teams and product experts to develop and co-deliver impactful training content
• Support team and territory expansion efforts, including designing scalable sales org structures and territory coverage models

Qualifications:

Required:

• In-home B2C sales experience in a one-call-close environment (home improvement industry strongly preferred)
• Proven track record of success leading sales managers and/or multi-market sales teams
• Strong experience in sales training and team development
• Consultative sales approach with the ability to coach at all levels of the sales organization
• Proficient in interpreting and acting on sales KPIs and CRM-driven performance data

Preferred:

• Experience scaling sales organizations across multiple locations
• Deep knowledge of home services or construction industries
