Salary: $103,604.80 - $139422.40

PlasmaSource is opening a new blood donation center in Saratoga Springs, Utah, and we’re looking for a Center Operations Manager to help lead this exciting launch. As an emerging business line within Vitalant, PlasmaSource combines the energy of a growing organization with the resources and experience of an established one.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Center Operations Manager will play a critical role in launching and leading PlasmaSource’s new Saratoga Springs center. This is more than managing daily operations-it’s an opportunity to build a high-performing team, shape culture from Day One, and establish an exceptional donor experience while driving service, quality, operational, and financial results. Working across operations, training, quality, regulatory, and marketing, you’ll help create a safe, efficient, and innovative center that sets the standard for what’s next in plasma and blood collection.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Lead and Develop the Team

· Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate assigned team members.

· Build a high-performing team through clear expectations, coaching, feedback, and accountability.

· Foster a positive, collaborative culture while supporting employee development and career growth.

· Partner with Training and Quality to ensure employees have the knowledge and resources needed to succeed.

Lead Center Operations

· Oversee daily PlasmaSource center operations, including staffing, workflow, inventory, and facility needs.

· Monitor operational performance and implement improvement measures when needed.

· Ensure production targets, quality goals, and established cost expectations are achieved.

· Maintain appropriate inventory and supplies to support daily operations.

· Respond appropriately to temperature alarms and other operational issues.

· Prepare accurate daily, weekly, monthly, and other required reports.

Deliver an Exceptional Donor Experience

· At PlasmaSource, the experience matters. You’ll help create a center where donors feel welcomed, respected, informed, and valued.

· Ensure consistently high levels of customer service throughout the collection process.

· Build rapport with donors and support satisfaction and retention.

· Address donor concerns and complaints professionally and effectively.

· Use feedback and operational insights to identify opportunities to improve the donor experience.

Champion Quality, Safety, and Compliance

· Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulations, internal SOPs, and defined policies and procedures.

· Maintain a strong culture of quality, safety, and compliance.

· Identify and escalate compliance issues appropriately.

· Partner with Quality and Regulatory teams to address audit findings and other deficiencies.

· Collaborate with Training and Quality to ensure center training and quality objectives are met.

Help Grow the Saratoga Springs Market

· Partner with Marketing to support donor recruitment, community outreach, and engagement strategies.

· Promote awareness of PlasmaSource and the impact of donation.

· Monitor outreach activities and adjust strategies based on results and community response.

· Build relationships that establish PlasmaSource as a trusted part of the Saratoga Springs community.

WHAT YOU BRING

We’re looking for an experienced healthcare leader who knows how to build strong teams, manage complex operations, and create an environment where people and performance can thrive.

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field OR an equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

· Five years of healthcare experience to include recent experience performing apheresis blood collection.

· Three years of direct supervisory experience.

· General business and management practices knowledge
