Job Description:

Vitalant is seeking a Laboratory Technician dedicated to making a positive difference in our donor products manufacturing laboratory. Support Vitalant's life-saving mission by operating within the laboratory handling responsibilities that include component production, labeling, record reviewing and data entry. What to Expect

Schedule: Days will rotate Weekends

Location: Pearl Street, Rosemont IL

Base Wage: $18.37 - $19.88 (depending on experience)

As a Laboratory Technician, you'll get to:

• Maintain accurate data records and documentation.
• Prepare blood components through processes such as centrifugation, separation, freezing, thawing, washing, storage, sterile docking, transformation, and filtration.
• Ensure product quality, volume, appearance, and time requirements.
• Conduct labeling for routine and special components and implement quarantine procedures.
• High School or GED required
• No Experience Required
