(CAN) Senior Specialist, Routing and Optimization - Temporary 6 Month Contract

Position Summary...

The Regional Routing and Optimization Team will work to streamline all aspects of the freight transportation process. This will be accomplished, in part, by strategically creating the daily load plans and providing clear communication to key stakeholders across the region. Through this approach, the regional routing team will create efficiencies among all multi-stop shipments while reducing cost to the business. This team will be the center of excellence and will continue to drive improvements through collaboration to ensure better service to all Region 1 retail locations.

What you'll do...

1. Daily load plan creation for all regional multi-stop shipments 2. Partnership with Quality Assurance on verifying item file accuracy 3. Creates and analyzes financial and service reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis; provides load exception reporting 4. Responsible for the execution of strategic initiatives that improve service, financial savings, efficiency, productivity, and communication to the customer 5. Provide visibility to management and the customer by tracking, process oversight, auditing, researching, and troubleshooting operational issues 6. Manage carrier performance including on time performance, mileage and billing. 7. Implements final stage system parameters that drive system load assignments that identify, and build hundreds of loads per day in compliance with customer routing expectations. 8. Resolving store issues regarding deliveries and all other Transportation-related inquiries.

This is a temporary 6 month contract position.

Schedule: Thurs to Sun (4:00pm to 2:30am)

The pay range for this position is $66,400.00 - $83,000.00. Pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
