What you'll do...
- Program Manager – Crisis Management & Business Continuity Team Overview The Crisis Management and Business Continuity function forms part of the Governance Centre of Excellence within APAC Global Security and is responsible for strengthening organisational resilience across the region. The function supports Walmart's strategic objective of building resilient operations capable of preparing for, responding to and recovering from disruptive events while protecting associates, critical services and business operations. The role will play a central part in the development of Walmart's Enterprise Resilience capability across APAC, integrating Crisis Management, Business Continuity and organisational preparedness within a common governance framework. Role Overview The Program Manager – Crisis Management & Business Continuity is responsible for developing, implementing and continuously improving Walmart's Crisis Management and Business Continuity programmes across APAC. The role will establish governance frameworks, conduct Business Impact Analyses, develop recovery strategies, facilitate exercises and strengthen organisational resilience across IDC, CES and regional operations. The position will work extensively with business leaders, technology teams, workplace services, corporate security and the future APAC Regional Security Operations Centre (RSOC) to ensure resilience considerations are embedded into business operations and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Business Continuity Management
- Develop and maintain the APAC Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
- Conduct and facilitate Business Impact Analyses (BIA).
- Support business functions in identifying critical processes, dependencies and recovery requirements.
- Develop and maintain recovery strategies and continuity plans.
- Establish governance, metrics and reporting mechanisms. Crisis Management
- Develop and maintain Crisis Management frameworks and procedures.
- Coordinate Crisis Management exercises, simulations and tabletop activities.
- Support Crisis Management Teams during activations.
- Facilitate lessons-learned reviews and continuous improvement initiatives. Enterprise Resilience
- Support the development of Walmart's Enterprise Resilience capability across APAC.
- Partner with Security Risk Management, Corporate Security, Workplace Services and Technology teams to improve organisational preparedness.
- Contribute to resilience assessments, maturity reviews and governance reporting. Governance and Assurance
- Develop policies, standards and operating procedures.
- Support ISO 22301 alignment activities.
- Maintain resilience dashboards, risk registers and executive reporting.
- Support audits and assurance activities. Job Requirements Essential
- 12+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Enterprise Resilience or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience developing or managing Business Continuity Management Systems.
- Experience conducting BIAs, developing recovery strategies and facilitating continuity planning workshops.
- Experience designing and conducting crisis exercises, simulations and preparedness programmes.
- Strong programme management and stakeholder engagement capability.
- Experience working with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Preferred
- ISO 22301 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor.
- CBCI, MBCI, CBCP or equivalent certification.
- Experience supporting large multinational organisations.
- Experience building Enterprise Resilience programmes.
Familiarity with Security Risk Management and Operational Resilience concepts.
Successful Profile
The successful candidate will combine strong Business Continuity and Crisis Management expertise with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders and drive organisational resilience maturity across a complex multinational environment.
