Role summary: The (USA) Specialist, Physical Security plays a critical role in developing and implementing security protocols, programs, and training to ensure compliance with corporate standards and regulatory requirements. This position provides tactical responses to emergency situations, manages threat assessments, and supports investigations related to security incidents. The role involves collaboration with internal and external partners to maintain a safe environment, overseeing security systems, and addressing compliance issues. The Specialist contributes to continuous improvement efforts while upholding integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to protecting associates, assets, and facilities. About the team: The Physical Security team ensures a safe and secure environment by implementing and maintaining security protocols, emergency response plans, and compliance measures. The team collaborates with internal and external partners to provide tactical responses during life safety incidents and supports continuous improvement of safety procedures. Members prioritize clear communication, adherence to company policies, and ethical standards while managing incidents and threats effectively. This team plays a vital role in protecting associates, customers, and assets by delivering reliable security operations and fostering a culture of accountability and professionalism. What you'll do:

• Support development and implementation of security protocols, programs, and training to enhance safety and compliance.
• Respond to emergency situations by initiating incident command and providing tactical security responses.
• Monitor and manage security systems including alarm and intrusion detection activations, ensuring timely and appropriate action.
• Investigate reported threats, policy violations, and security breaches, assisting with mitigation and resolution.
• Assess visitor threat levels and escort critical information and merchandise securely.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate policies, addressing violations and implementing corrective measures.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote a safe working environment and deliver effective customer service.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in physical security operations, including emergency and incident response.
• Strong knowledge of crisis and threat management protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to implement and maintain security systems and ensure compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Skilled in conducting investigations and mitigating security threats effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams and external partners.
• Demonstrated capability to provide tactical responses during life safety events and emergencies.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 - $40.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Will complete and pass all core components of the Physical Security Specialist Training Academy within 90 days of job entry date and will maintain them while employed in this position. 1 year experience in security, law enforcement, military, emergency services or related field.
