Role summary: The (USA) Developmental Technician, General Facilities Maintenance, supports facility operations by performing routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs under supervision. This role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and fixtures using multiple craft skills, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. The technician ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards while documenting maintenance activities and assisting with work orders. Collaborating with team members and business partners, the position contributes to maintaining safe, functional, and efficient facilities, supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence within the organization. About the team: The Facilities team ensures safe, reliable, and fully operational environments across multiple locations. Technicians manage electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems, promptly addressing issues to support daily operations. This role offers development in various technical trades with emphasis on safety, accountability, and effective communication. The team promotes professional growth and ownership through collaboration and continuous learning in general maintenance. Upholding ethical standards and quality workmanship is central to maintaining high facility standards and operational excellence, ensuring a well-maintained and efficient workplace for all. What you'll do:

• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities equipment and fixtures.
• Inspect, clean, and repair equipment under supervision, documenting maintenance activities and signs of wear.
• Conduct minor repairs using multiple craft skills including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Diagnose issues by inspecting and testing equipment, utilizing repair manuals and blueprints as needed.
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls and document repair work accurately.
• Assist with work orders, parts requests, and maintenance logs following established schedules.
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies to ensure quality and ethical work standards.

What you'll bring:

• Proven experience in facility repair and maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
• Ability to perform routine preventive maintenance and minor repairs following established schedules and guidelines.
• Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve facility issues.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.
• Strong documentation skills for maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders.
• Effective collaboration and communication skills to support team objectives and continuous improvement.
• Commitment to ethical standards and integrity in all work practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 - $28.00*

*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.

Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...
