Host

Western Home Communities is seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Host to join our Dining team!

As a Host, you will play an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our guests. You will greet and seat guests, manage reservations and wait times, answer incoming calls, and help ensure the dining area remains clean, organized, and welcoming. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

• Greet incoming and departing guests with a warm, friendly attitude.
• Escort guests to their tables, provide menus, and introduce them to their wait staff.
• Monitor guests' needs throughout their dining experience and help ensure exceptional service.
• Manage reservations and maintain accurate wait times.
• Communicate wait times and assist guests while they wait for service.
• Answer incoming restaurant calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Keep the host station, front doors, menus, tables, and chairs clean and sanitized.
• Work collaboratively with dining and kitchen team members.
• Maintain reliable attendance and arrive on time and ready to work.

What We're Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to read, speak, and write fluent English.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• A positive, professional demeanor and the ability to use good judgment.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
• Ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift and frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds.
