Portfolio Director

At Plain Concepts, we're looking for a Portfolio Director with a strong technical background and a strategic mindset to lead high-performing teams in the technology consulting space.

This role combines technical leadership, people management, delivery excellence, and business development, acting as a trusted advisor to both clients and internal teams. You'll be responsible for driving project delivery, growing strategic accounts, and owning key client relationships across national and international engagements.

Key responsabilities:

• Lead the technical and operational strategy for strategic client accounts, ensuring quality, business value, and successful delivery.
• Drive account growth by identifying new opportunities, shaping innovative solutions, and expanding existing client relationships.
• Lead and coordinate teams of 30-60 professionals, including managers and multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Ensure delivery excellence across projects involving Cloud, AI, Big Data, and Microsoft technologies.
• Own the definition and presentation of proposals, acting as a key business and technical partner for clients.
• Build long-term client relationships based on trust, value creation, and strategic alignment.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and continuous improvement.

• 10+ years of experience in technology environments.
• At least 5 years leading large engineering, delivery, or consulting teams.
• Previous experience in a technology consulting or services company (mandatory).
• Proven track record in account farming, client growth, and business development.
• Strong technical background in software engineering and web technologies, combined with experience in Cloud, AI, or Data platforms.
• Experience managing complex programs and international clients.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
