Your New Role
- Serve as a Senior Project Manager for major water and wastewater treatment plant construction projects along Utah’s Wasatch Front, including projects from Salt Lake City to Spanish Fork.
- Take ownership of large, complex projects from preconstruction through project closeout.
- Lead water and wastewater projects with construction values of approximately $150M to $300M.
- Work on-site alongside the treatment plant owner, project team, Superintendents, Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other key stakeholders.
- Oversee design coordination, project budgets, construction schedules, contracts, cost tracking, forecasting, and change orders.
- Coordinate closely with field operations to keep safety, quality, schedule, and project execution on track.
- Apply deep water and wastewater treatment plant construction expertise to solve complex field and project challenges.
- Lead and mentor Project Managers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and other team members with clear communication and accountability.
- Build productive relationships with treatment plant owners, subcontractors, vendors, design teams, and project stakeholders.
- Use construction management and project controls tools, including Procore or similar software, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Excel, and Google Suite.
- Maintain the technical expertise, leadership, communication, and professionalism necessary to earn treatment plant owner approval.

- 10+ years of direct water and/or wastewater treatment plant construction experience is required.
- Exceptional candidates with 8 to 9 years of experience may be considered only when they demonstrate substantial, directly relevant clean-water or wastewater treatment plant construction expertise.
- Senior-level project management experience delivering large, complex municipal and/or industrial water or wastewater treatment plant construction projects.
- Experience with large-scale construction projects; experience managing projects comparable to the $150M to $300M range is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of water treatment, wastewater treatment, heavy civil construction, concrete construction, construction management, preconstruction, project controls, scheduling, cost forecasting, contracts, change orders, and field coordination.
- Generic commercial construction, heavy civil, utilities, or general infrastructure experience by itself is not sufficient. Substantial direct water/wastewater treatment plant construction experience is required.
- Experience with water/wastewater facilities, treatment plant infrastructure, and related new construction.
- Strong communication, team leadership, mentoring, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with Procore or similar construction management software, Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Excel, and Google Suite.
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Must be willing and able to work on-site with the treatment plant owner and project team along Utah’s Wasatch Front.
- Candidates located outside Utah may be considered but must be able to meet the position’s on-site work requirements.
- Demonstrated record of successfully leading complex construction projects through completion.
- Final selection is subject to treatment plant owner approval.
