About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect – Data & Analytics to help shape and evolve our enterprise-wide data, analytics, and AI capabilities.
As part of the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence (CoE), you will define the strategic architecture for data platforms, integrations, governance, and analytics solutions. You will ensure our data landscape is scalable, secure, well-governed, and ready to support future business growth and AI innovation.
This is a senior leadership role that requires strong expertise in enterprise data architecture, cloud technologies, and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise Architecture & Integration
- Define and govern enterprise data integration architecture and standards.
- Design scalable and reusable data integration patterns across systems and platforms.
- Drive alignment between business goals, analytics requirements, and technology solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor on data, analytics, and AI transformation initiatives.
Data Platform & Cloud Strategy
- Lead architecture for the Enterprise Data Platform supporting analytics, AI, and data products.
- Establish best practices for: AWS cloud data solutions Databricks Lakehouse architecture dbt analytics engineering frameworks SAP integrations and data ecosystems
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-effective.
- Promote platform reuse and reduce duplication across teams.
Data Governance & Master Data Management
- Define standards for data quality, metadata, lineage, security, and access management.
- Drive enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) and reference data strategies.
- Partner with governance, privacy, and security teams to ensure compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
Analytics & AI Enablement
- Design architectures that support advanced analytics, AI, and future data-driven capabilities.
- Create scalable and trusted data foundations for AI and analytics initiatives.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and quality standards, including regulated pharma requirements.
Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, platform teams, SAP teams, governance leads, and business stakeholders.
- Provide architectural guidance, mentorship, and design assurance across delivery teams.
- Present architectural recommendations and trade-offs to senior leaders.
- Represent the Data & Analytics CoE in enterprise architecture and governance forums.
What You'll Bring
Required Experience
- Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or Integration Architecture.
- Strong background designing enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms.
- Expertise in data integration, ingestion, and harmonization using batch, streaming, and event-driven approaches.
- Hands-on experience with: AWS Databricks (Lakehouse, Spark, Delta Lake) dbt SAP HANA Cloud (preferred)
- Strong understanding of data modeling and domain-driven design.
- Experience with data governance, data quality, metadata management, and MDM.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in large, complex, or highly regulated organizations.
- Exposure to Data Mesh or domain-oriented data environments.
- Familiarity with data catalog, metadata management, and observability tools.
- TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
- Understanding of PMO processes, SDLC governance, and architecture standards.
