Deal Desk Manager

Adobe

Dublin

The Opportunity

In this role, you will lead a Dublin-based team of Deal Desk Analysts who provide fast, reliable deal support for Adobe's enterprise transactions across the Central, UK&I, and Western EMEA regions. Your team supports deals spanning Adobe's Customer Experience Orchestration (CXO) and Creativity and Productivity (C&P) businesses, and the environment is high in both pace and volume: a large flow of time-sensitive transactions that need to move quickly without giving up quality or compliance. You will translate Global Deal Desk strategy into clear goals for your team, own the day-to-day quality and timeliness of their work, and coach each analyst as they grow. You will also be a trusted partner to Sales, Finance, Product, and the other teams across the go-to-market ecosystem, the person they rely on to keep deals moving and to bring clarity when questions arise.

What You'll Do

• Translate Global Deal Desk strategy into clear, measurable goals for your team, and help each person see how their daily work connects to the bigger picture.

• Own the quality, timeliness, and compliance of your team's deal support, making day-to-day prioritization and coverage decisions and holding approval authority within your scope.

• Ensure your team applies pricing, bookings, and risk guidance correctly, and escalate the structural or non-standard tradeoffs that need a broader decision.

• Keep a high volume of transactions moving quickly and accurately, driving consistent, reliable execution against your team's operational targets through close involvement and coaching.

• Manage team capacity, coverage, and prioritization to ensure consistent support during peak periods, quarter-end cycles, and employee absences.

• Look for friction in recurring work and help make it simpler and more repeatable so the team runs smoothly as volume grows.

• Directly manage and coach a team of approximately six to eight Analysts, building role clarity and giving regular, direct feedback that helps them develop.

• Own your team's working relationships with Sales, Finance, Product, and support partners across EMEA, and handle routine escalations with credibility and data.

• Lead your team through change, supporting adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working, and modeling the values and behaviors expected across Deal Desk.

• Recruit, onboard, develop, and retain top talent while building a strong pipeline of future Deal Desk analysts.

What Makes Someone Successful

• Leads through others: Finds real satisfaction in the success of the team, and coaches each person to do their best work rather than stepping in to do it for them.

• Owns the outcome: Takes accountability for the quality, timeliness, and compliance of everything the team delivers, and makes clear prioritization calls under pressure.

• Keeps things moving: Thrives in a fast, high-volume environment and helps the team turn work around quickly without letting quality or consistency slip.

• Builds trusted relationships: Earns credibility with Sales, Finance, and other partners, and uses data and sound judgment to resolve escalations and align people around a shared result.

• Steadies the team through change: Brings a calm, constructive tone to new tools and processes, and models the behaviors they expect from the team.

Preferred Experience

• 3+ years of people leadership experience, ideally leading a team in a Deal Desk, pricing, finance, sales operations, or related function.

• 5+ years in Deal Desk, Finance, Sales Operations, or a related field, ideally in the software or technology industry.

• Proven ability to build relationships with and influence cross-functional teams and their leaders toward shared objectives.

• Experience reading, writing, and interpreting enterprise contract language.

• Strong understanding of software revenue recognition and order-processing principles.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment across multiple markets and time zones.

• Experience with Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics, and CPQ.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, or equivalent experience (MBA or CPA a plus).

• Fluency in English required; additional European languages relevant to the Central, UK&I, and Western regions are a plus.
